My name is Betsie Garcia and I am the Marketing Manager at the Sundial. I am reaching out because we have this Free live storytelling event called MIC DROP that I think Mike Curb students would be interested in. I’m hoping you can pass this information along to students and faculty members interested. Attached below is a flyer for the event.
This event is an opportunity for students to have a voice and to tell their story. This event called “MIC DROP” will be on Thursday, April 12 at 7 pm at a venue called MacLeod’s in Van Nuys, about 15 minutes from campus. This event is part of the Street Storyz Podcast, hosted @VthePlug, which features the voices of our diverse student population and their opinions and answers to the question of the week.
For this event, the question is “What Have I Learned” and students have the opportunity to voice their thoughts and answers in front of an open and welcoming audience. Seniors, especially, can have the opportunity to voice their thoughts on their CSUN experience and give advice to others
We are encouraging students to RSVP their attendance and to RSVP to volunteer to speak through the link below
