Hammer Student Association Arts Party- RE: Arts Party FY17: Performance Review


I’m Lauren Miller from the Hammer Student Association, a UCLA student group that creates dynamic programs and content at the Hammer Museum by and for college students, and I’m contacting you about advertising an event we have coming up.
Our event this year revolves around a Corporate Office Party theme; exploring work dynamics/culture and highlighting networking – so we would love to invite as many fellow students in the Greater Los Angeles area to attend! We were wondering if you could send out an email blast to your student server list of the following content:
HSA’s Arts Party this year, RE: Arts Party FY17: Performance Review, is an evening of performance art, music, and after-hours access to the galleries. 


  • Music by DJ Kelman Duran, Vinyl Williams, Gary Wilson & the Blind Dates, and Infinite Body
  • Video piece by Actually Huizenga
  • Participatory “juicerina” performance with Michael Parker and Wesley Hicks
  • Intimate photobooth sessions with artist Kim Ye
  • Hands-on project by Kelly Akashi
  • Free treats from GT Kombucha, Saffron and Rose, and Kind Bars
  • Zines and art books for sale
  • Late-night gallery hours

The Hammer is located at the corner of Westwood and Wilshire boulevards in Westwood Village, three blocks east of the 405 freeway’s Wilshire exit.

Ticketing: This drop-in program is not ticketed. FREE.
Parking: Under the museum, $6 flat rate after 6 p.m. Cash only.
