3 Day Writing Retreat for Grads in January- Applications DUE 12/16/16

The Office of Graduate Studies and the Learning Resource Center will be hosting a 3-day writing retreat in January for graduate students working on their Thesis/Dissertation.
The retreat is scheduled for January 4-6th from 9am to 2pm at the Learning Resource Center. 

The retreat offers the following:
A quiet workspace, computers, lunch, snacks, social support and a writing expert.

Students commit to:
Attend every day from 9am to 2:00pm
Bring what they have already written and anything they need to write.
Set writing goals (preferably with your advisor) and share those goals.

Applications Period
Only 12 graduate students will be selected to participate in this writing retreat.  Applications will be accepted from masters and doctoral students until December 16th. An email notification will be sent to the graduate students selected to attend the retreat on December 20th, 2016.

This is the second time we are offering this retreat. The feedback from the first one was very positive. The students surveyed mentioned how much they enjoyed the one on one consultation the quiet workspace and
the sense of camaraderie.
